Repeat Prescriptionsmulticolour_pills

These can be made by:

  • Letter - please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope if you wish the prescription to be posted to you.
  • In person - complete form at the reception desk or hand in your repeat slip.
  • Online -  follow the link at the top of this page to complete a simple registration.
  • By fax - 0161 775 5603

Please note that we do not take repeat prescriptions over the telephone following a review of the security and safety of verbal requests.

Please make the request as clear and concise as possible, providing the name of medication, dosage, daily amount, and total amount normally prescribed. All prescriptions are computerised, and are checked by the staff, then by the doctor. Whilst we aim to swiftly process repeat prescriptions, it is your responsibility to ensure requests are made in good time.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
